Winton Kemmis was born in Missoula, moved to Alaska and then California. Returned to Missoula in 1966 and attended University of Montana for BA in US History and Political Science. Married Cathy (Hamilton girl) in 1970 and have two children Leslie and Andrew both UofM grads. He has been lucky to have 3 wonderful grandchildren who are attending Lewis & Clark School. Worked for CMI Corp. for 25 years manufacturing and selling asphalt plants, mills, concrete equipment, stabilizers for the road building industry. Winton owned two Missoula businesses and is now retired. He has been in Exchange Club since 1991 and it has brought him many friends and is now giving him a chance to give back as Club President.

A word from Winton: Already the month of July has flown by as President of our Missoula Exchange Club. We have put our Foundation and Club Budgets together, built our committees and chairmanships, defined our goals, started a wonderful Newsletter and celebrated our Member Recognition meeting with new Club personalized polo shirts. We named our Exchangite of the Year, Lee Cox, our immediate past President and I are now heading into August planning for football, Law Enforcement Banquet, Fireman of the year Luncheon, and Homecoming Giveakidaflag parade. Our Summer Picnic will be August 19. It has been busy, rewarding, enjoyable with a lot more to come.
