America’s Most Wanted

Friday, October 28th, 2011
John Walsh, the producer of “America’s Most Wanted” that was our Suprise Guest  Speaker at the Law Enforcement Banquet this past week, will air the show he was here filming, on Fox network, Saturday, Oct. 29th.  Check your local TV listing for the time.
Mr. Walsh was here filming the incident involving Mr. Bergert and two Sheriff Dept. Officers, Deputy Larry M Schwindt and Deputy Charles William Newsom.  Both Officers were Honoree’s at this years Banquet. The incident took place in the Lolo Creek Area.  Mr. Bergert is still at large.  Hopefully this program will help authorities locate him.

Law Enforcement Banquet

Tuesday, October 18th, 2011

The 2011 Officers of the Year was held on Wednesday October 19th, 2011 and it was a huge success!

The big news from the evening was that John Walsh, the host of “America’s Most Wanted” was a surprise speaker! We were so honored to have him speak at the banquet and hear his unique perspective about the hard work of the men and women in law enforcement.

Some other highlights from the evening included: Monte Shaide, from the Federal Bureau of Investigation as the keynote speaker, a wonderful presentation by the boy scouts, and of course honoring all of our local law enforcement and their spouses for their commitment and devotion.

Law enforcement men and women from city police, sheriff, highway patrol, fish and game and U of M security personnel were all honored on behalf of the community. They each received a plaque, a $100 gift card to the Montana Club, and an Exchange Club Pin.

Thank you to all who attended, and to the many generous donors who made this event happen.
