Law Enforcement Banquet
The 2011 Officers of the Year was held on Wednesday October 19th, 2011 and it was a huge success!
The big news from the evening was that John Walsh, the host of “America’s Most Wanted” was a surprise speaker! We were so honored to have him speak at the banquet and hear his unique perspective about the hard work of the men and women in law enforcement.
Some other highlights from the evening included: Monte Shaide, from the Federal Bureau of Investigation as the keynote speaker, a wonderful presentation by the boy scouts, and of course honoring all of our local law enforcement and their spouses for their commitment and devotion.
Law enforcement men and women from city police, sheriff, highway patrol, fish and game and U of M security personnel were all honored on behalf of the community. They each received a plaque, a $100 gift card to the Montana Club, and an Exchange Club Pin.
Thank you to all who attended, and to the many generous donors who made this event happen.

A word from Winton: Already the month of July has flown by as President of our Missoula Exchange Club. We have put our Foundation and Club Budgets together, built our committees and chairmanships, defined our goals, started a wonderful Newsletter and celebrated our Member Recognition meeting with new Club personalized polo shirts. We named our Exchangite of the Year, Lee Cox, our immediate past President and I are now heading into August planning for football, Law Enforcement Banquet, Fireman of the year Luncheon, and Homecoming Giveakidaflag parade. Our Summer Picnic will be August 19. It has been busy, rewarding, enjoyable with a lot more to come.
